Florida Dental SEO that Fills Your Schedule with New Patients
SEOMA is a Florida dental SEO agency, based in Vero Beach, that helps general, cosmetic and specialty practices win new patients from Google Search, Google Maps and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini. Strategy is led by former CFPB Director of SEO Callan Pyfer, and every page is built to Florida Board of Dentistry advertising rules. Our AI Overview sources study found that “best dentist” searches showed only the Map Pack, so the Business Profile still decides them.
New patients usually decide from what they see first: the Map Pack, a handful of reviews and one page that answers their question about cost, insurance or same-day care. Dental SEO makes sure that page is yours.
- Map Pack rankings for “dentist near me” in every area you serve
- Treatment pages for implants, clear aligners, emergency care and more
- Review growth that follows Google’s rules
- Visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews

Definition
What Is Dental SEO?
Dental SEO is the work of making a dental practice easy to find and easy to choose when patients search online. It covers four areas: your Google Business Profile and Map Pack rankings, the treatment and location pages on your website, the reviews and listings that prove you are trustworthy, and the technical health that lets Google and AI tools read your site.
For dentists, the bar is higher than for most local businesses. Google treats health information as Your Money or Your Life content and holds it to stricter quality standards, so clinical accuracy, a clearly identified licensed dentist and genuine patient reviews carry more weight than they would for a restaurant or a retailer.
How patients search
How Do Florida Patients Search for a Dentist?
Each search signals a different need, so each one needs a different page or profile feature to win it.
| Search | What the patient needs | What wins the click |
|---|---|---|
| “Dentist near me” or “dentist Vero Beach” | A nearby practice that is open and taking new patients | Map Pack position, reviews, accurate hours and a clear new patient page |
| “Emergency dentist open today” | Same-day relief from pain or a broken tooth | An emergency care page, click-to-call and same-day availability shown on the profile |
| “Dental implants cost Florida” | A price range, financing options and confidence in the dentist | A dedicated implant page covering cost factors, financing and consented case photos |
| “Dentist that takes my insurance” | Confirmation that their plan is accepted | An insurance page and profile details listing accepted plans |
| “Best cosmetic dentist” asked to ChatGPT or Gemini | A trusted recommendation | Reviews, credentials, third-party mentions and content AI tools can quote |
| “Pediatric dentist” or “sedation dentist” | A specific specialty or comfort option | Pages that describe credentials accurately, within Board rules on specialty and sedation claims |
What we do
Dental SEO Services
Every engagement starts with the $499 audit and custom KPI dashboard, then focuses first on the work that moves new patient calls.
| Service | What it includes | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Google Business Profile management | Categories, services, photos, posts, questions and service areas for each office | Map Pack visibility drives calls and direction requests |
| Local SEO for every location | Location pages, citations and a consistent name, address and phone everywhere | Each office ranks in its own neighborhood |
| Treatment pages | Implants, clear aligners, crowns, whitening, emergency, sedation and pediatric care, written for patients | Each high-value treatment gets a page that can rank and convert |
| Review generation | A request step built into your patient flow, plus personal replies to every review | Google lists reviews as part of local prominence, and patients read them before calling |
| Technical SEO and schema | Site speed, mobile usability, Dentist and LocalBusiness schema, FAQ markup | Helps Google and AI tools read your practice details correctly |
| AI search optimization (GEO) | Answer-first content, consistent entity details and citations AI tools trust | Gets your practice named when patients ask ChatGPT or Gemini for a dentist |
| Analytics and call tracking | GA4 conversions, call tracking and your KPI dashboard | Reports new patient calls and bookings, not just traffic |
Compliance
Which Florida Advertising Rules Apply to a Dental Website?
In Florida, dental advertising is governed by Section 466.019, Florida Statutes, and Board of Dentistry Rule 64B5-4.002. The rule applies to media exposure of any nature, paid or not, which includes your website, your Google Business Profile and your social media posts.
Four requirements shape most of our dental SEO work. Advertising must identify the Florida licensed dentist who takes responsibility for it. Claims of formal specialist recognition are limited to recognition the dentist has actually received from an approved organization. The term “sleep dentistry” may only be used by a dentist who holds a general anesthesia permit. And any free or discounted offer, such as a new patient special, must carry the capitalized statement required by Section 456.062, which tells patients they may refuse to pay for other services performed within 72 hours of responding to the offer, and Board rules also require the offer dates to be stated.
We build these requirements into page templates, so every treatment page names the responsible dentist, every offer carries the required statement and specialty language is checked before it goes live. This is general information, not legal advice; your attorney or the Florida Board of Dentistry has the final word.

| Organic website visits per month | 800 | 2,400 |
| Google reviews | 12 | 150+ |

How Do We Grow a Dental Practice’s Search Visibility?
The order matters: measurement first, then the fixes that unlock the Map Pack, then the pages and reviews that build lasting rankings.
| Phase | Timing | Work |
|---|---|---|
| Audit and dashboard | Weeks 1 to 2 | 200+ point audit, competitor review and a custom KPI dashboard for calls, forms and bookings |
| Foundation | Weeks 2 to 6 | Business Profile cleanup, citations, technical fixes, schema and conversion tracking |
| Treatment and location pages | Weeks 4 to 10 | New or rewritten pages for your highest-value treatments and each office |
| Reviews and authority | Ongoing from week 3 | Review requests, replies, local links and directory listings |
| AI search and reporting | Monthly | AI visibility checks, content updates and a report tied to new patient calls |

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does dental SEO cost in Florida?
SEOMA’s local SEO audit with a custom KPI dashboard is $499. Monthly dental SEO plans are $1,500, $2,500 or $5,000, depending on competition and the number of locations.
How long does dental SEO take to work?
Business Profile and technical fixes can show movement in the Map Pack within weeks. New treatment pages and review growth usually build over three to six months, and highly competitive markets take longer.
Can my dental website say I am a specialist?
Only if you have actually received formal specialist recognition from an organization the Florida Board of Dentistry approves. Rule 64B5-4.002 restricts specialty claims, and we check specialty wording on every page before it is published.
Do new patient specials need a disclaimer in Florida?
Yes. Section 456.062, Florida Statutes, requires a capitalized statement on advertisements for free or discounted services, explaining that patients may refuse to pay for other services performed within 72 hours of responding to the offer. Board rules also require the offer dates.
Does dental SEO help my practice show up in ChatGPT?
Yes. AI assistants lean on consistent business details, reviews, third-party mentions and pages that answer questions directly. Dental SEO builds all of these, and we check monthly which AI answers name your practice.
Do you work with dental practices outside Vero Beach?
Yes. SEOMA is based in Vero Beach and works with dental practices across Florida and nationwide. Treasure Coast practices can also see our Vero Beach dental SEO page.
How do you handle patient privacy in tracking?
We configure analytics and call tracking so protected health information is not passed to advertising or analytics platforms, and we keep tracking off patient portals and appointment forms unless a HIPAA-compliant setup is in place.
